The Salvation Army Justice & Advocacy Support (JAS) is for young people aged up to 25 years who require assistance in navigating the Court system.

JAS offers:

  • Short-term case management and advocacy during court appearances

  • An outreach service where you are supported to achieve your goals and work towards securing a better outcome at sentencing

  • We liaise with your legal team and ensure you are fully informed of the court process

  • We can advocate for you with the police, your legal team and magistrates

JAS Youth Workers support and advocate for you by referring to external agencies and program partners, to ensure you receive the assistance you require and can support you through any Restorative Justice conferencing.

  • Do you have an upcoming court date?

  • Do you understand what is going to happen in court?

  • Do you require assistance in getting your life back on track after being charged with an offence?

If you answered “YES” to any of the questions above, contact our JAS Youth Workers on  0429 607 275 or  07 3854 1245 for more information, or send us an email at
