The Salvation Army Independent School opened in January 2015 at our Lawnton site, as our fourth YOS school and first Independent School. Currently, we have students in Years 10, 11 and 12 completing a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science and a number of  vocational certificate courses. We also offer students the opportunity to participate in work experience and school-based traineeships.

The YOS Goodna Campus began its first schooling year in January 2017, with all Year 11 students.  They have now relocated to Riverview, now, the campus offers 16 places for students completing Years 10, 11 and 12.

With our teams of Teachers, Teacher Aides, Health and Well-being Youth Workers and Youth Vocational and Transitional Workers, as well as utilizing the support of our mental health and therapeutic partners, we offer an alternative for young people aged 15-19 years who have been disengaged from mainstream education, and are motivated to continue with Senior Studies.

School is on Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm.
