KICKSTART

The KickStart Tenancy Support Program provides outreach support to help young people identify and work on issues impacting their tenancy.

YOS works with young people aged 16 - 25 years, living on the Northside of Brisbane and are a tenant on a lease.

LAUNCH PAD

Launch Pad’s purpose is to provide a safe and secure environment for young people to transition to independent living in the community, for a sustainable future.

The property can accommodate six young people up to 12 months. Residents acquire and build upon their rental tenancy history through affordable rental payments and adherence to the rules and obligations of the Program. As part of this agreement, residents participate in a day-time activity of choice in education, training or employment.

YOS tenancy and advocacy workers assist the young people in working towards their goals, maintaining their education and or employment, life skill development, linking in with the community, including the Launch Pad community, as well as navigating the rental system and the rights and responsibilities of all parties involved.

The centrally-located units are fully-furnished one bedroom apartments.
